Our Nursery
The nursery is open from 8am - 6pm for 50 weeks in the year and provides education with care for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years. All the nursery staff are qualified and experienced in delivering quality childcare and the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Children's Learning Journeys are completed in consultation with parents/carers. The children and staff work closely with the teaching staff from Kingsley Community School. The setting actively promotes equality and inclusion. Our admission policy covers a wide criterion, including purchased and funded places. Full and part-time places are available to meet the individual needs of families. Children are encouraged to eat from our healthy eating menu,
The nursery offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment that is welcoming and child centered. We offer all children opportunities to learn through play, new experiences and challenging activities.
There is additional support for children with Special Educational Needs and for children for whom English is an additional language.
Children are able to participate in weekly sessions of Active Play and Multi Sensory Room Sessions and other children centre activities and events.
